Professional Experience
Anneke received her Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Lourdes University. While studying as an undergraduate, she also earned a certificate in European Culture & Identities from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands in the summer of 2007. She started her own freelance writing company, Market|Ink, in 2008.

During and after college, she was the Marketing Director for Ohio personal injury attorney and Foster client Chuck Boyk for over four years before her love of the Netherlands drew her back. While touring Holland with her “Oma” (“grandmother” in Dutch) in 2007, she fell in love with the country, which prompted her to go back and earn an International MBA from the University of Amsterdam. During her time there, she continued to write freelance for Foster Web Marketing, and also worked as a nanny for expat families.

An avid traveller, Anneke has seen most of Europe and parts of Southeast Asia, and even passed the travel bug onto her fiancé, Brian, whom she will marry in November 2011. They plan on settling in Toledo, Ohio, where they were both born and raised. Anneke also loves to read and cook, and is often teased for reading cookbooks outside of the kitchen. She also enjoys taking photographs and studying her family’s genealogy.
