Danielle Ruderman is our Director of Research and Development, and has been with Foster Web Marketing since early 2007. She manages the development teams for our client websites and for DSS, our proprietary content and contact management system.  Danielle also runs the DSS User Group and is one of our FWM Liaisons.  You'll also see her posting in the DSS Forum and on the DSS Facebook page and the DSS Twitter feed!

Professional Experience
Danielle has been involved in IT since she wrote her first computer program in the 6th grade.  She has a BS degree in Chemistry from Washington and Lee University, where, thanks to several research grants, she wrote computer programs to study protein folding.  Prior to coming to Foster Web Marketing, she worked in all parts of the software development lifecycle, as a computer programmer, business analyst, software tester, requirements manager, and finally as a product and project manager.  She also has a passion for organizational process improvement, and will happily spend hours explaining exactly what that means.

Her last job was as a project manager with the American Red Cross, where she led the deployment of the organization’s number one priority project – a multi-million dollar, multi-phase upgrade of their mobile blood collection system.  She honed her communication and organization skills leading a team of over 50 people and interfacing with everyone from senior executives to phlebotomists to FDA investigators.   She joined the Foster family when her first child was 6 months old, and hasn’t looked back.

Danielle was born in Texas and thanks to her fighter pilot father, moved around the world until she left home for college, living in countries like Japan, England, and Greece.  She currently lives in Virginia and is married with two frisky little boys, two dogs, three cats and a variety of fish.  When she isn’t wrangling her brood, she enjoys reading, cooking, gardening and skeet shooting.
