4 Steps to Effectively Promoting Yourself & Your Law Firm Through Social Media

Social media is a marketing force that cannot be ignored.  According to the annual Unisfair marketing survey, technology marketing professionals believe that social media is the top emerging channel for lead generation.  That means they are looking to social media as a way to generate a steady base of new clients, are you?

Do you need more proof that social media is where it’s at in terms of Web marketing? If so, consider this – another study found that 51 percent of Facebook fans and 67 percent of Twitter followers said that they would be more apt to purchase brands they like on Facebook or follow on Twitter.

Mashable.com recently posted a great article entitled, HOW TO: Use Social Media for Lead Generation, which gave a step-by-step approach to utilizing social media to grow your business. Below is a summary of these steps:

  1. Share content that showcases your expertise and include links with your updates.
  2. Promote your social media presence on your website, business cards and marketing materials.
  3. Respond to comments and answer questions that people direct towards you.
  4. Use social media to communicate and build relationships, just like you would offline.

For more information on how to use social media to get more cases, order a copy of the report, Twitter for Attorneys.  We can also help you set up a Facebook business page that you can use to get in front of potential clients.
