Beyond the Homepage

Your homepage needs to be spectacular, of course. It is very important; however, it is not the most important page and may not even be the first page a future client clicks on. Hopefully, if you have done your keyword/SEO homework, the first page he or she clicks on is the one that is relevant, and this should not be your homepage. The page may be a blog, an article, or a practice page. Read below for more about blogging, articles, and practice pages that you need to include in your lawyer web design.

  • Blog: Blogs allow you to add more content to your site in a very simple way. Search engines love this type of content because the content is relevant and fresh. You can post about a recent case or, if it is part of your brand, even write about a personal, family event.

  • Article: They are capable of increasing the traffic on your website. Each article can be specific to one of your areas of practice. The articles can then link to your blog and practice area pages.

  • Practice Page: As with the articles, you can have specific practice pages. When users click on that link, it is speaking directly them, and they will continue to dig into your website - and ideally become loyal clients.

With each designed page, remember to always include a call-to-action, perhaps an incentive, and your contact information. And always remember: you are more than just a homepage.
