Get the skinny on creating a winning Facebook ad for your law firm

Small business advertisements have been a big source of revenue for Facebook, because Facebook offers advertisers access to demographic data that allows them to target their niche markets. If you are looking for another relatively inexpensive way to advertise your law firm, consider a targeted Facebook ad.
Things to consider when creating a Facebook ad:
  • Facebook users like things that are free. If you have a book or other free offer on your main website, consider advertising it on Facebook.
  • Create targeted ads. Facebook has a lot of data available about their users - much more than Google or other search engines. This means you should not approach a Facebook ad like you would a traditional ad.
  • Be creative. Create different ads that target different segments of your niche. Think about the typical age and location of your ideal client, and what hobbies they might engage in or other relevant data.

If at first you don't succeed...

Yup, try, try again! Don't be dismayed if the ad does not do well; you may have to experiment with different approaches before you figure out what makes the potential clients in your niche respond to an ad.

Making the most of social media isn't as hard as most attorneys think

Don't look at social media as a time-consuming new thing you have to figure out - look at is as a great new way for you to engage your potential clients on a friendlier and more personal level.
