Google Widening Lead on Other Search Engines

United States Internet users conducted 2 percent fewer searches in October 2008 than the year earlier, but used Google more often for those searches, according to data Nielsen Online released Tuesday. -Cnet, 11.25.08

This article simply underscores what is blatantly obvious to everyone paying attention. Google and MSN are slowly but surely losing more and more market share as the search engine of choice.

According to the same article, Yahoo's overall search numbers went down 12% and MSN's searches went down a whopping 19%.

While having your business prominently listed on Yahoo and MSN are still nothing to scoff at, the reality is that Google continues to be the gold standard for search engine results.
