“Hey, is this thing on?” Why your social media marketing isn’t working

The great thing about social media is that so many people use it these days to look for information and see what their friends recommend. The problem attorneys will find is that as users become more sophisticated in their use of social media, they will also become more discriminating about the content they trust. This means that if you are not posting compelling information that your followers can really use, they will filter you out.

Folks, the bottom line is this: if you are not posting info that engages your followers, your social media efforts will be a waste of time.

Content is STILL king

Now is the time to take a look at what you are posting on social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. Are your followers "liking" your posts? Are they sharing them with their friends?(Hint, if you don't know the answer to this question, it is time for you to investigate some social media analytics tools.)
If you are not getting a good response from your social media efforts, and if you are not effectively engaging your law firm's followers, it is time to revamp your strategy - and this usually means posting content that your potential clients actually want to read!
