Legal Marketing Expert Ben Glass “Rocks the Boat” With New Program

Many of the lawyer marketing techniques that attorney Ben Glass has used have been met with resistance by other attorneys. Not every legal professional likes what Ben has to say, as they would prefer a more simple, traditional form of marketing. So, it’s not surprising that Ben’s new program, “No Fee For Kids” has been met with some opposition.

What Got the Wheels Turning

Ben was inspired to create a program where the attorney fee is waived for any child who is age 12 or under at the time of the accident and whose case settles without having to file a lawsuit. According to Ben, he came up with this out-of-the-box idea after sitting in the courtroom listening to an attorney attempt to justify a large fee he had charged in a child auto accident case.

In a recent press release, Ben says, “the case itself was relatively simple and the insurance company had offered its policy limits. The judge felt that the fee was excessive for the risk and amount of work done.” It was this situation that got the wheels turning in Ben’s mind.

As a father of nine children, he wanted to find a way for kids to have legal representation without have to pay a high fee. The rest is history.

It Must be Great Marketing

Ben has challenged other lawyers to take the “No Fee For Kids” pledge alongside him. While many attorneys have jumped on board, there have been some negative responses. According to Ben’s Facebook page, one lawyer told him to stop rocking the boat with his program. If it stirs up controversy, it must be great marketing!
