What’s Our Tie to ESPN?

We live in a society where people want information fast.  Many aren’t willing to even read an article or Web page to find the information they are looking for.  So instead, they gravitate to video to discover the solutions to their problems.

Video is what will push your website to a whole different level.

The thing you need to understand, though, is that there’s video and then there’s AMAZING video.  Our very own cinematographer, Jim Folliard, has gained a reputation in various circles as the go-to person when it comes to anything video-related.  He knows what it takes to create captivating Web video and he knows how to bring out the best of his video subjects.

Now, the entire nation has been exposed to Jim’s great work!

Recently, one of Jim’s notorious video clips, featuring Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals, made its way to ESPN Sports Center.  The video clip has been on YouTube for nearly a year and has already attracted a quarter of a million views!  The video was shot for Eastern Motors and it shows Alexander singing the company’s jingle.  During the ESPN interview, he reacted to his debut as a “singer” on the infamous video.

If you are thinking about adding video to your website, you have a few options.  You can create grainy, homemade videos yourself.  You can hire a random company to produce it for you. Or, you can hire someone who has been recognized by ESPN.  It’s up to you.
