Every Page Matters When Your Law Firm Has a Mobile Website

With more people grabbing their mobile phones to search the Internet, you need to make sure that they are finding your website and contacting your firm. Over the last year, there has been a tremendous increase in mobile visitors. This fact is not all too surprising once you consider that sales for smartphones have gone through the roof.

If you decide to create a mobile website for your law firm, (which you should!), there are some things you need to know:

  • Mobile visitors view less pages than traditional website visitors. When your prospects are using their mobile phones to view your website, they are not going to click through pages and pages of information.
  • Mobile visitors won’t spend as much time on your website. Someone using a desktop or laptop is far more likely to stick around to read content and watch videos. A mobile visitor, on average, won’t stay long on your site.

What does this information mean to you?

Number one, you need to make sure that your website is set up for mobile browsing. The layout should make it easy for mobile users to navigate through your site. They should be able to locate the information they need quickly. Focus your website on answering your prospects’ questions and showing them that you have the solutions.

Second, make every page count. Since mobile visitors probably won’t view multiple pages on your website, you need to ensure that each and every page can stand on its own. Every Web page must appeal to the reader, by providing interesting and relevant information. But that’s not all. You also need to include a call-to-action that tells your mobile visitors what you want them to do after reading your content or watching your videos. Do you want them to order your free book? Should they contact you with questions? Tell them what to do next.

Time to go mobile.

Don’t wait around while all of your competitors capture the mobile user market. Take the necessary steps to develop a mobile website for your law firm. For more information, contact us today at 888.886.0939.
