Three Things You Need For a Successful Internet Marketing Campaign

While getting on the first page of Google and other search engines is important, there is WAY more to Internet marketing. If that is your only goal with your web marketing campaign, you will not be maximizing your advertising dollars.

To have a successful Internet marketing campaign that will increase the number of cases that you want, you need to be able to do three things:

1. Be found on page one to three on all search engines, including Google, Yahoo!, MSN and Bing, for every possible keyword phrase that relates to your areas of law. Your keyword phrases, also known as long-tail keywords, should be specific to the types of cases you are looking for. Terms such as “malpractice,” “medical malpractice,” and “surgical errors” will all generate a large number of listings, but won’t attract highly targeted prospects. A better approach with keyword phrases is to use something like, “Houston medical malpractice attorney” or “Dallas surgical error attorney.” These types of phrases will produce a higher-quality group of prospects.

2. Convert search queries into visitors by having them click on the link in the search engine result listing, which will take them to one of your web pages. One way to attract more visitors is to create an appealing title and description of your web page.

3. Your web page needs to answer your prospects’ questions. Once you get people to click on your website, your page should provide them with the information that they are searching for. The answers you provide can come in the form of content, video and/or a free report.

If you are able to accomplish these three things, you will be able to use the power of the Internet to your advantage.
