Lawyer Content Writing Tip - Use a Theme!

We tell all of our clients that at the minimum, they should be adding 30 content pieces to their attorney websites each month. While that may sound like a daunting number, there is a great tactic you can take to boost your writing efforts. It has to do with creating a theme.

What do we mean by a theme?

Coming up with topics to write about that are relevant to your clients can be challenging. How many different ways can you write about car accidents or family law? After all, you need to be generating articles, blog posts, FAQs and news updates. The good news is that by creating and following a theme, producing 30 content pieces each month is a breeze.

Below is an example of what a content theme would look like:

Theme: Texting and Driving

Article: Dangers of Texting and Driving
Blog Post: Avoiding the Temptation of Texting and Driving
FAQ: Is there a texting ban in Texas?
News Update: Dallas Car Accident Caused by Texting Driver

If you have helped a client who was injured in a texting and driving accident, you can include that in your theme too.

What is great about using a theme is that you not only generate high volumes of content, but you can also tie your content pieces together. For example, you can reference the article, Dangers of Texting and Driving, in the blog post, Avoiding the Temptation of Texting and Driving. You would want to include a link to the article.
