Bing Gains 10% of Market Share and Experiences 22% Growth in August

Microsoft search engine Bing has taken 10% of the US search engine market share and has experienced a 22% growth rate in the month fo August according to a report from Nielsen ratings (which was published by CNET).

The search engine is now the fourth most-used search engine, and is 600 million searches away from overtaking Yahoo! for third place.



Google continues it's search engine dominance with close to 7 billion searches in August, a 3% rise since July.

CNET also reported an independent study earlier this week that found Google to obtain the least amount of bugs. The study also concluded that Google search results were most relevant and accurate, and load fatster than any other search engine.
