I know that I'm beginning to sound like a broken record, but we can't thank you guys enough. This week on Thursday alone, we took in 2 new wrongful lockout cases...

Tom, the site is taking off! We are literally getting 2-3 new cases a week! People from all over the country are finding us. Today, a woman from California said to me that she loved the site. It was filled with information that she couldn't find anywhere else on the web. That was an amazing compliment.

Twitter Ad Platform is on Its Way

Posted on Feb 23, 2010

The new Twitter ad platform is on its way, according to Anamitra Banerji, the head of product management for Twitter.  There has been a lot of speculation about when it would be coming and apparently, Banerji told MediaPost that “we are working on an ad platform, but it’s only in the test phase.”  However, Seth Goldstein, the chief executive officer and co-founder of socialmedia.com said that Twitter plans to launch an advertising platform in about a month.

During a panel addressing the next wave of interactive advertising at the IAB Annual Leadership Meeting 2010, Banerji showed a chart that had the peaks and total number of tweets about ads and brands during the Super Bowl.  This behavior on Twitter is not limited to the Super Bowl, as Banerji said it happens across the site all the time.

“People are constantly talking and engaging with brands, sharing their feedback,” said Banerji.  There were some questions during the panel, such as – “What if brands start to participate?  What would the chart look like then?”

Goldstein asked Banerji during the panel if Twitter will most likely offer owned and operated ads in the next month or so.  Banerji’s response was, “that’s right.”
