It is vitally important to your livelihood that you understand 100% that the attorney web marketing game is always changing and you need to change with it. But first, ask yourself these questions: Are you living the life you dreamed about in law school? Do you want to learn how lawyers just like you have taken control of their destiny and created the life they want? Effective and conversion focused web design for your law firm is more important than ever.
You MUST consider the following FACTS:
It's no longer enough for your attorney web site to just appear on page one of Google. (Now, you have to dominate page one of Google with various, unique, and provactive messages.)
It's no longer okay to have a attorney web design without video. (Almost no one had video 2 years ago... Now, if you don't have video, you're behind and fading fast.)
It's no longer okay to get a couple thousand visitors to your site each month using traditional attorney search engine optimization (SEO) without converting them into clients. (If your site isn't converting those visitors, it is a complete waste of time & money.)
It's no longer okay to buy or focus 100% of your SEO efforts on vanity keywords like, "California Personal Injury Attorney." They simply aren't worth it. (We have the Google Analytics reports to prove it.)
I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that the Internet is in a constant state of flux. It is forever changing, evolving, moving forward, breaking new ground and introducing new ways of doing things.
Static websites get punished and forgotten.
The message, then, is a simple one: If your Website doesn't evolve and keep pace, you will lose valuable opportunities to those that are embracing the changing trends.
I am not being an alarmist – but a realist. You can’t put your web marketing on autopilot for years and years! I just want you to realize that change is here and it's time to act.
Dare to Be A Different Kind of Marketing Law Firm!
By using the “Answer the Question” approach and not the “I am So Great” approach – you will win more people over.
Think about it. When you go to McDonalds and order a Big Mac – you want a Big Mac, you don’t want to hear about the history of McDonalds or how great the Big Mac is – you are hungry and just want to eat. Maybe, after you are eating and somewhat satisfied, you will be more interested in hearing about the history of the Big Mac and why it is so great.
The same is true for consumers looking for an attorney… Instead of greeting them with your giant logo and office building, a gavel, scales of justice, or dialogue (video or text) that is ALL ABOUT HOW GREAT YOU ARE, greet them to each page with the answer to the question they are asking.
THE RULE IS that the message should be 60% about THEM FIRST, and then follow with 40% about how you can help solve their problem. That is why people search the web, to find solutions. If you provide them with the solution to their problem, communicated to them so they hear you, then the chances are much greater that they will in fact hire you.
