Ask.com certainly has a philospohy of "never say die."
For the third time in three years, Ask is revamping their website and their algorithms in order to make the search engine more efficient and to try to get a bigger share of the market, which is currently dominated by Google and, to a lesser extent, Yahoo.
Ask is certainly on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to search engines.
In a press release, the CEO of Ask stated:
"On average, it takes consumers three clicks to find what they are searching for online. Ask.com's goal is to reduce this to one click of the search box,"
Well, that's good news.
Even though Ask has a much smaller market share than the other search engines, keep in mind that when it comes to your website, traffic is traffic is traffic. If you have a high ranking on Ask, it isn't anything to sneeze at, especially if this new revamping works like they expect it to.
