YouTube Increases Upload Limit, Again

It seems like just yesterday that YouTube increased the upload limit of videos to 15 minutes.  Well, the limit has been raised again, for some users.

According to the official YouTube blog, the video sharing site will “begin allowing selected users with a history of complying with the YouTube Community Guidelines and copyright rules to upload videos that are longer than 15 minutes.”

YouTube was able to raise the upload limit partly because of the advances in its Content ID system and other tools. 

You can see if your YouTube account qualifies for the limit increase by clicking on the “upload” button on the top of the screen.
