Professional Experience
After earning a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Writing & Rhetoric, Jamie began his professional career in 2009 as a Data Manager at a law firm before transitioning to digital marketing in 2011.
In 2014, Jamie joined Foster Consulting (FKA Foster Web Marketing), serving three years as Senior Digital Marketing Strategist before holding the Director of Marketing Services role for five years.
In early 2022, Jamie departed Foster to become the SEO Manager at Grammarly. Most recently, as Customer Solutions Director at Radancy, he managed software implementation projects and digital marketing services for Fortune 100 and 500 customers including as Mars, Royal Canin, Lockheed Martin, GDIT, and IQVIA.
Jamie's tenure in enterprise marketing made him realize he'd missed working for and with small businesses, and in early 2025 he rejoined Foster Consulting.
"I've worked with some of the largest brands on earth as well as some of the smallest, most locally-focused businesses in my neighborhood. My experience with large corporate entities tought me several things, including the fact that I prefer to devote my time and energy to helping local businesses succeed."

Jamie and his wife Kim live with their cat Pancho in Harper's Ferry, WV on a mountain overlooking the Shenandoah River. When Jamie isn't behind his desk, you can find him outside mountain biking, hiking, camping, and kayaking.
