Foster Web Marketing Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July, 2018

Foster Web Marketing and our affiliates take your privacy seriously. Our privacy policy applies to our website (www.fosterwebmarketing.com) and our Dynamic Self-Syndication (DSS) software licenses, and it governs our practices with regards to data collection, processing, and usage. It also explains your choices when it comes to use, access, and correction of your personal information. By using our website and DSS, you are agreeing to the terms of this privacy policy.

We encourage you to review our privacy policy periodically. If the policy changes, we will post the changes on this page. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice either on our website or via email.

If you have any questions about this privacy policy or our use of the information you provide us, please email us at [email protected] or write to us at this address: Foster Web Marketing, 10555 Main Street, Suite 470, Fairfax, VA Attn: Customer Support.

Dynamic Self-Syndication (DSS) Usage

DSS, our inbound marketing software with CMS/CRM capabilities, allows both Foster Web Marketing and our clients to manage their websites and create and share marketing, sales, and customer support content. DSS can also be used to organize and track sales data, including website visitors, leads, potential clients, website engagement, client information, and contact information. This information is collected when a website visitor completes a form on the website or when a DSS user uploads this information and confirms that the associated email address has opted-in to receiving marketing correspondence, and it is stored and managed on our service providers' servers. This data can then be used to contact visitors to inquire about their interest in the company's goods or services. Foster Web Marketing provides DSS to clients for their own marketing, lead generation, and customer support needs, and it also uses DSS to meet those needs at Foster Web Marketing.

Foster Web Marketing

Foster Web Marketing uses DSS to build web pages that people can visit to learn more about the products and services we provide. We also use DSS to collect and manage information for our own marketing. This data belongs to us, and it is used, disclosed, and protected according to this privacy policy.

Our Clients

Our clients use DSS to build web pages that people can visit to learn more about the goods and services they provide. Foster Web Marketing does not control the content of these web pages or the types of information that our clients collect or manage using DSS. The information collected by our clients using DSS is not subject to this privacy policy. It belongs to individual DSS users and is used, disclosed, and protected by them according to their privacy policies.

Foster Web Marketing processes our clients' information as they direct and in accordance with our agreements with them. We store their data on our service providers' servers, but we do not have control over its collection or management. Our client agreements prohibit us from using the data except as needed to provide and improve DSS, as permitted by this privacy policy, and as required by law.

We don’t have a direct relationship with the people who provide personal information to our clients. Our clients control and are responsible for correcting, deleting, or updating the information they have collected from you using DSS.

Foster Web Marketing acknowledges that you have the right to access your personal information. If we are requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We may work with our clients to help them provide notice to their website visitors about their own data collection, processing, and usage. We are not responsible for our clients' use of the information they collect in DSS.

Foster Web Marketing collects information under the direction of its clients. We have no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal information we process. If you are a customer of one of our DSS clients and would no longer like to be contacted by them, please contact them directly.

We may transfer Personal Information to companies that help us provide our services. Data transfers to these third parties are covered by the service agreements with our clients.
