Professional Experience
After graduating from Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana in 2008 with a BS in Marketing and Business Administration, Amos relocated to Lake Charles, Louisana. After settling into the area, he realized that many small business owners were not utilizing their web presence to their fullest potential due to a lack of time, expertise, or funds to afford an agency.
After recognizing this problem, Amos set out to help soon-to-be college graduates and small businesses. He worked with professors at the local university to identify talented students who wanted to gain real-world experience and paired them with small business owners in the local community to do light marketing work such as copywriting, graphic design, web design, and social media management. It was a win-win for all involved as it gave the small businesses access to talent and skills they didn’t have and allowed the future professionals to have more than a degree to put on their resumes.
Through those efforts, Amos landed a position in the tourism industry with a destination marketing organization (DMO) which helped him hone his skills as a holistic digital marketing strategist with skills in social media, website SEO/SEM, CDP/CRM administration, email marketing, and digital content creation. In 2015, Amos was awarded the 30 Under 30 Award for destination marketing professionals by Destinations International. After working in the tourism industry for eight years, Amos made the leap into tech startup culture as the Head of Digital Marketing for a blockchain startup that preceded his joining the Foster Web Marketing team.
Amos takes a data-first approach when it comes to marketing and is constantly learning new technologies, platforms, and trends to improve the bottom line. He believes success comes from a solid team effort, and collaborating together is the most effective way to get things done.

Originally hailing the cornfields of northern Indiana, Amos made his way to south Louisiana where he embraced the cajun culture for 13 years. Now Amos resides in east Texas with his wife and eight children. He gives his best in all he does, and he has a passion for marketing and seeing others succeed from those efforts.

Due to Amos’ northern Indiana roots, he is an avid fan of Notre Dame football—even when they aren’t doing well. His time in Louisiana taught him how to cook a delicious chicken and sausage gumbo. Speaking of Amos’ eight children, he can justify owning a 15-passenger van for daily driving. He also enjoys collecting Hot Wheels and refurbishing them.
