Lawyer Website Design: Free Color Scheme Apps & Tools

This week, we’ve been discussing how to choose the perfect color scheme for your attorney website. While our web design team can help you pick a great design, we also want you to know that you can participate in the process and experiment with web color schemes yourself. In fact, there are a number of free tools and applications that you can download and explore before you consult with us. Here are a few of our favorites:

  • Touchan. This is one of the most intuitive color scheme design tools – and it even comes with a tutorial to help you learn to use the application before you get started. One great feature is that it allows you to upload an image and create a palette from the colors in the picture.
  • Kuler. This Adobe app lets users experiment with color schemes while looking at other users’ palettes and exploring a bevy of color options and combinations. This app also lets users download color schemes into other Adobe programs, like Photoshop or Illustrator.
  • Color Scheme Designer. This simple app lets you explore color combinations, build triads, and match complimentary shades. It also has a feature that allows you to view your color scheme through the eyes of users that might have impaired vision or color blindness.

At Foster Web Marketing, we understand that different attorneys want to participate in the web design process at different levels. If you want to take an active role in choosing your website’s color scheme, we can help guide you to tools that can help. Ready to partner with us?
