Toby Crandall is our CTO and the first employee of Foster Web Marketing. He is also our technology and IT security leader within the organization. With over 30 years of experience in the ever-changing world of Information Technology and IT management, Toby provides leadership in all things technology here at FWM.

Professional Experience

Toby has led IT organizations for multi-billion dollar global corporations as well as running his own local businesses. He has handled all things IT for banks, school districts, telecom companies, manufacturing businesses, global payment providers, and has worked with everything Internet related since it started to take off in the early 90s'. Toby has even invented, developed, and patented his own technologies.

With more than thirty years of professional experience in IT and network engineering, twenty of which were in management, Toby positioned himself as a CTO and Solutions Architect. He has held network and security certifications with Microsoft, ISC2, Cisco, Red Hat, and others.

Toby joined the Foster Web Marketing team in 2008. With his repertoire of knowledge and experience in his field, he was the perfect choice for managing our new data centers, enhancing systems’ functionality, network security, system performance, integrations and redundancy.

Toby loves spending time relaxing and laughing with his girlfriend, family, friends, and Australian Shepherd, Addy. He also loves music, football, fishing, cooking, and travelling. Toby grew up in Traverse City, Michigan and currently resides in Locust Grove, Virginia.
