Creating Header and Footer Templates in DSS

Last Updated: November 2018

Headers and footers are an easy way to add standard language or information to any page in DSS. The purpose of these templates is to save time, so you don’t have to recreate the same content for multiple pages. To use headers and footers, simply name your template, add the necessary content, and save. On the individual pages in DSS, select the template from the dropdown list as a header or footer:

Headers will appear below the headline and above the page content. Footers will appear at the bottom of your content.

You can also create a global content footer and global footer for your site. This footer is shown at the bottom of every page on your site, either right below the content or in the “fine print” above the copyright details.
