Brian Webb is the Junior Network Administrator at Foster Web Marketing. With experience in operations, support, sales, multimedia, and engineering, he is a versatile and valuable asset to the team! Brian has been a member of the Foster Web Marketing team since 2015.
Brian pursued a degree in Computer Science at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. While a student at Morehouse, Brian gained experience in the IT field through multiple internships. His time at Sidley Austin LLC, and at the U.S. Department of Energy was spent working closely with clients to ensure that their IT needs were met. This hands-on experience only reinforced something Brian knew for a long time: he loved working in IT. After returning to the Northern Virginia area, Brian continued to solidify his knowledge and expertise in the areas of internet technology. He began working for US Department of Energy’s Fish & Wildlife Service as one of the key players in Information Resources.
After about three years Brian decided he was ready for something new. "I want to do something that I am excited about, and that makes a difference," he says. Being such a critical part of our IT Department—which keeps all of our websites up and running—certainly makes a difference to us and to our clients! And while it may not be a heart-pumping thrill ride, maintaining these websites is actually quite exciting. Brian is who we turn to whenever we have a technical issue, so the pressure is on to be sure we are keeping clients happy!
