Jennifer Weissman began writing for Foster Web Marketing in 2010. She enjoys making dry legal topics exciting and difficult legal concepts understandable.
Professional Experience
Despite not liking cold weather or snow, Jen is a proud graduate of the University of Rochester and Boston College Law School. As a 3L, Jen wrote and published an article on special education law in the Massachusetts Family Law Journal. She spent the first year after being admitted to the Massachusetts bar practicing law in a general civil litigation practice in Boston. Then she decided to pursue a career in education law and she became an Education Specialist with the Massachusetts Department of Education. When her family moved back home to Connecticut in 2005, Jen began work as a consultant to the Connecticut Department of Education and as a freelance writer.
Learn More About Jen
Jen lives in Connecticut with her husband, two children, and high-maintenance (but much beloved) dog. She is very active in her religious organization where she currently serves as Sisterhood President, Youth Committee Coordinator, and as a member of the Board of Education. When she’s not working, chauffeuring children, or volunteering, Jen likes to read, knit and entertain.
What You Might Find Interesting About Jen
Shortly after the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, Jen participated in one of the first March of the Living programs to Poland and Israel. It was an experience that changed her life.
