Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas (FAANT) joined Foster Web Marketing in January 2011. Its managers were unhappy with their current website, which was dated and didn’t allow the team to easily add content. They knew content was important and they had been writing in a way that appealed to patients, but it was difficult to load the content onto the site and even harder for patients to find useful, timely, and informative posts. Highlighting Multiple Offers
What we did: FAANT has several offers, with its pediatric coloring book being the most popular. We needed to find a way to highlight those offers to make them as accessible as possible.
Why does it work? We placed a scrolling offer box in the right side bar of nearly every page on the site, so it’s hard to miss the free offers! When a user requests one of the books, his contact information is automatically added to the FAANT email list, which is fully automated in the CRM portion of DSS. This is a huge time-saver for the doctors and staff!
Making Smart Use of Video
What we did: FAANT has created many dynamic, high-quality videos. We wove these videos into the site so that they enhanced the written content on the page.
Why does it work? The best thing about FAANT’s videos is their variety! The videos don’t just show a doctor talking in front of a green screen; they take potential patients on a tour of the office and introduce them to the support staff. In this way patients get to know the office and the staff before they enter the office. By using their videos in the right places, we are able to boost conversion.
Adding an Online Store and Patient Portal
What we did: Establishing these two features was very important to FAANT. Allowing patients to shop and fill out paperwork from home would help reduce office backlog and increase customer satisfaction. To make sure these options were seen and used, we added a button for the online store in the top navigation bar and a large button for patient to log in and access paperwork at the top of the home page.
Why does it work? The placement of these important buttons was crucial to their success. We made them highly visible and connected each to a clean, easy-to-navigate page. By adding these features to the site, FAANT adds another layer of convenience for its patients. Increasingly, patients expect access to payment options and paperwork online. Because the site offers this, FANNT cements their image as a modern, convenient podiatry clinic.
